The Getingen Health Center is now expanding its medical team with an additional specialist in general medicine. With this recruitment, the workplace will meet the National Board of Health and Welfare's recommendations regarding 1100 listed patients per full-time specialist physician. The Getingen Health Center in Lund is therefore looking for a dedicated and interested specialist physician who wants to be part of our dynamic team and contribute to providing our patients with the best possible care.

The Getingen Health Center is a small and family-oriented health care unit with about 20 employees and is located within the hospital area. We are one of Lund's youngest health centers, having started operations in May 2014 without any listed patients. Since then, our listing has risen to approximately 6,000 patients today. The operations are characterized by high medical quality, joy at work, and a sense of teamwork. The premises are located on the Skåne University Hospital area, which provides several unique service offerings such as pneumatic mail, logistics, and laundry management. These premises are also shared with the evening and weekend reception when the health center is closed, contributing to a good and close collaboration with the staff in this operation.

The Getingen Health Center is the first in Lund to work based on a new basic offering in collaboration with common functions at other health care units. This advantage gives us a unique opportunity to help shape the future of primary care from structures and routines to working methods and functions. The health center provides good and safe care for our listed patients with the help of specialists in general medicine, residents, district nurses, general nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, medical secretaries, and nursing assistants. The operations also run a nurse-led diabetes clinic, asthma-COPD clinic, and elderly care clinic. We also collaborate with other primary care units regarding dietitians and occupational therapists to offer patients individualized care at the right level of care.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a specialist physician in general medicine, or another specialty, with the qualifications to work within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. Supervisory training and previous experience working in PMO and Melior are advantageous.
